Research Interest

I am interested in coastal regions. I studied coastal geomorphology and coastal evolution at Nanjing University. During my undergraduate study, I applied and held a project about the sand ridges along Jiangsu Plain Coast (Abandoned Yellow River Delta).  Then, I went to RSMAS, University of Miami, studying ocean engineering as my master's program. My adviser was Dr. Haus Brian K. My research was about wave dynamics in the coastal regions, especially about wave shoaling/breaking and refraction. The beach environments were simulated in the SUSTAIN tank. During my master's study, I also worked as a research assistant with Dr. Solo-Gabriele Helena M., studying coastal environments.
